Losing weight and eating healthy can sound “bland” and boring, I get it. Grilled chicken and steamed broccoli don’t have the same ring as chocolate chip pancakes and REAL peanut butter. Let’s keep it real… with losing over 60 pounds and now a coach to other women, I have tried just about every product under the sun regarding protein powders, baking mixes, nutrition bars, “healthy” ice cream, you name it. I’ve found some amazing products, and just as many that tasted like tree bark or cardboard if I’m being honest. When I was first starting out, I would post about the various products I used and what I thought of them on social media, both good and bad reviews, just my honest opinion… and I continue to do so. Let’s get real, if it’s bad, it’s bad.

G2G bars have been a go-to of mine for YEARS ever since embarking on my own health and fitness journey… I’ve asked them several times if they hide drugs in these bars they’re so good, but they keep assuring me, nope, no drugs. I’m hard pressed to pick a FAVORITE G2G bar, but if I HAD to narrow it down, I lean toward the almond chocolate chip and peanut butter chocolate coconut!!

This Planta protein (aka the Ambrosia Collective) is organic, plant-based, and meets vegan standards. Many plant-based protein powders on the market have an unpleasant taste and mouthfeel, but NOT THIS ONE… trust me, it’s almost TOO good! Coming from someone that is not vegan and has no problem with Whey protein… This is a keeper! Caution though, most of my clients end up running out of this quicker than expected when their spouses eat it all! My favorite flavors have to be the Banana Maple French Toast, Peanut Butter Banana, and the Peanut Butter and Jelly!

I personally enjoy the Trutein protein powder line by Body Nutrition Co. The flavors are unmatched, and this protein is great in oatmeal (as pictured), it bakes well, and is also good as a shake all by itself!
